Summer Active Haringey Play Program
This is a sports summer programme for young people. This project began at FMC in the year 2011. It’s a rigorous, but exhilarating four-week program which offers a challenging opportunity to explore sports techniques, such as Athletics, Dodge-ball, Football, Drama and more, with a dedicated, professional faculty of working sports tutors based at FMC and using the local parks. This project is designed to occupy the young people in our community during their summer break when some of them have nothing to occupy them leaving them to the mercy of any vice that comes along. This project brings great relief to less privellege families that can not afford to take their children on holiday by making the summer break worth-while for their kids. As we engage the services of a professional sports company to help deliver this project, there is a discounted cost for participants. We are trusting God for provisions and funding to enable us provide this totally free.
