Are you in active Kingdom service?
Kingdom service is about actively making oneself available for the use of growing God’s kingdom. It requires you using your skills, time, energy and finances to further the cause of God’s Kingdom. (Eph 6:7) “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people”
It requires a faithful servant-like attitude. This is an understanding that whatever the Lord instructs you to do as an individual in your home, church , community, workplace and world around you, you do it wholeheartedly unto Him and not for man’s recognition.
It also requires personal sacrifices which will always involve bearing of your cross as Jesus did.
You may be ridiculed, misunderstood or accused of taking it too seriously but if you endure to the end, the Lord will reward you. As in Matt 25:14-30, the parable of the talent shows that two out of the three servants were rewarded for actively using their talents to advance the Lord’s Kingdom. However the servant who did nothing with his one talent, had no reward and his talent was taken off him and given to the others.
